About the Series: Discover watercolor from the ground up in this unique three-part workshop with Dip Into Art, LLC.

Beginning with raw earth and mineral pigments, participants will create their own handmade watercolor paints before exploring the foundational techniques of watercolor painting and applying those skills to a finished Shenandoah Valley-inspired landscape.

During the first session, you'll learn how watercolor paint is made as you mix, grind, and prepare a custom palette of five handmade colors to take home. In the second session, you'll build confidence with essential watercolor techniques, including washes, color mixing, glazing, and brushwork. The series concludes with a guided landscape painting inspired by the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, using the very paints you've created.

Registration includes all specialized materials, a reusable watercolor tin, handmade watercolor pans, a refillable water-brush pen, printed guides, and your completed 9" × 12" watercolor painting.

This series is limited to a maximum of 20 participants; it will not proceed with fewer than 12.

Date & Time: Saturday, September 26, October 3, and October 10. Each two-hour class begins at 11:00 AM.

Class Fee: $135 per person. Registration is for the three-part series only; single classes cannot be taken separately.
