Ollella
Ollella is the solo project of Seattle-based musician Ellie Barber, whose indie-folk sound merges classical cello, rich vocals, and live-looping. A two-time NPR Tiny Desk Contest finalist, she pairs technical finesse with emotive depth, creating an intimate, modern folk experience.

Ken & Brad Kolodner are a father-son acoustic roots duo from Baltimore, celebrated for their dynamic blend of tradition and innovation in Old Time music. Ken is a master of the hammered dulcimer and a skilled fiddler, and Brad is a gifted clawhammer banjoist and composer. Joining the duo are bassist Alex Lacquement and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Eddy.
Songs from Slavery to Civil Rights
This VA250 program is presented in partnership with the Josephine School Community Museum.

Jesus & The Kids: The Legacy of Malcolm Harlow

The Pollinators

The Pollinators is a gripping documentary that follows migratory beekeepers as they transport billions of honeybees across the country to pollinate our food crops—an essential process now in crisis due to industrial agriculture, habitat loss, and pesticide use. Before the screening, Natalie Izlar, Botany Technician for Virginia Working Landscapes—a program of the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute—will share insights from her research on pollinators and the plants that sustain them.
