This show is part of our 2026 Bluegrass & BBQ Series!
About: Chris Jones & The Night Drivers are widely regarded as one of the most accomplished groups in contemporary bluegrass, known for a sound that honors the tradition while bringing a distinctive clarity and drive to the stage. Their music is grounded in strong songwriting, tasteful arrangements, and the kind of crisp, cohesive playing that defines the genre at its best.
At the center is Chris Jones, an award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose rich baritone has drawn praise from Steve Martin as being “there with the great masters.” A respected voice in bluegrass both onstage and on the airwaves, Jones brings depth, wit, and deep knowledge of the music to every performance.
With 18 IBMA awards and more than 20 #1 songs to their name, the band continues to set a high standard for modern bluegrass. Their all-original album Make Each Second Last further cemented that reputation, producing a string of chart-topping singles and earning widespread acclaim. Onstage, that momentum translates into a performance that’s polished yet personal, grounded in tradition but alive with creativity.
