Songs from Slavery to Civil Rights
POSTPONED from Feb. 22 to Mar. 22
Bill Johnston performs a selection of songs tracing the arc of the Black experience, from the darkness of slavery to the hope and struggle of the 1960s civil rights movement. This VA250 program is presented in partnership with the Josephine School Community Museum.
Fragments of Eden Screening
FREE PROGRAM! Set in her Auvergne studio, Fragments of Eden captures Sophie Grandval’s decades-long devotion to painting flowers and birds. The film reflects both her collaborations with luminaries like Givenchy and Dior and her secluded life immersed in nature. Presented in partnership with the Oak Spring Garden Foundation.
Danny Knicely’s 15th Winter Concert featuring Cesar Garabini & Fernanda Bravo
Danny Knicely comes to Barns of Rose Hill for his fifteenth annual winter concert. Danny continues to dazzle audiences with a variety of world-class musical performances. This year, he is joined by guitarist Cesar Garabini and vocalist/percussionist Fernanda Bravo.

From China to Appalachia

Orange on the Blue Ridge
Back by popular demand, Orange on the Blue Ridge is a musical, a folk opera, an ode to love, music, and place. This autobiographical project was lovingly conceived and written by Suni Mackall, and features several local musicians.
