About the Program: Join us for the opening of A Beat of Color, A Pulse of Rhythm: Echoes of Brazil, an exhibition by multidisciplinary Portuguese artist Leonor Alvim Brazão. Inspired by Leonor's experiences immersed in Brazil's rich musical culture, her work invites viewers to experience music through a vibrant visual language of color, movement, and form.
Bringing together three interconnected series, Leonor transforms musicians, urban landscapes, and personal memories into expressive works that celebrate music as a universal language. Rich with color, rhythm, and emotion, her artwork captures the energy of performance and the connections forged through music, inviting viewers to experience its beauty in a new way.
Visitors may come and go as time allows. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
Date & Time: Saturday, August 8, 2026. The reception will begin at 5:30, and conclude by 7:00 PM. Stay afterwards for a concert featuring the Latin jazz ensemble, CantoSur.
