About the Program: Join us for an Artist Reception with Jim Haller, a local pen-and-ink artist whose intricate stippling technique transforms personal health challenges into reflective, visually compelling works. Drawing on motifs such as medication, anatomy, and medical environments, his art captures the emotions and experiences that have shaped his journey.
Take this opportunity to meet the artist and learn more about his work. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
About the Artist: Jim Haller is a pen-and-ink artist and art educator whose work is shaped by a degenerative health condition diagnosed during college. He has developed a distinctive stippling style that draws on imagery from medical environments and personal experience. His practice is both expressive and meditative, using thousands of hand-placed dots to create artworks that convey resilience, insight, and lived emotion.
Date & Time: Saturday, January 10, 2026. The reception will begin at 5:30 and conclude by 7:00 PM. Visitors are welcome to come and go as time allows, or stay afterward for a performance by The Bob Band—a tribute to Bob Dylan.
