About: Mr. Jon & Friends is award-winning music made just for kids—and loved by parents, too. Their high-energy shows are full of laughter, movement, and memorable songs that get the whole family dancing.
Created by singer-songwriter Jon Lewis, a parent himself, the project was born out of his own journey into fatherhood and his work with young children at the public library. Alongside his wife Carrie, Jon recorded their first family album at a Grammy-winning studio—earning a Parents’ Choice Award and quickly becoming a top seller.
Now performing more than 250 shows a year, Mr. Jon & Friends has become a favorite at schools, libraries, and festivals. Whether solo or with a full band, their music brings families together through upbeat, joyful songs that are as fun for grown-ups as they are for kids.
This free family-friendly event is open to the public; brought to you in partnership with the Clarke County Library. Registration is encouraged.
Date & Time: Monday, July 7, 2025. Doors open at 10:30 am, and the program begins at 11:00 am.
