About: Melissa and the Moth Men is a classic country dance band from Harpers Ferry, WV, known for their high-energy two-step, line dance, and square dance sets.

Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Melissa Wright, the group features a rotating lineup of the region’s finest fiddlers, guitarists, pedal steel players, upright bassists, and drummers—together creating an irresistible sound built for the dance floor.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Melissa has performed across the country at renowned venues including The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and NPR’s Mountain Stage. In addition to leading the Moth Men, she is an acclaimed music educator, owner of Big Universe Music, and the creative force behind her original band Minks Miracle Medicine.

Inspired by legends like Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, George Jones, and Loretta Lynn, Melissa and the Moth Men channel the spirit of classic country, bringing timeless dance tunes to enthusiastic audiences throughout the DC Metro region and West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle.

Ticket Price: All tickets are general admission. $25 in advance until 3:00 PM on the day of the event. $30 at the door. Children 12 years and below are free when accompanied by an adult.
