About: Experience the vibrant energy of Shenandoah University's Jazz and Commercial Music program through a captivating musical performance featuring two student ensembles.

The Carter Fensterstock Quintet pays homage to the late trumpeter and composer Roy Hargrove, drawing inspiration from his legacy. The ensemble's set is a fusion of original compositions and cherished pieces, promising a diverse and engaging musical journey. The band includes Tyler Makowiecki on trumpet and flugelhorn, James Keshap on saxophone, Carter Fensterstock on piano, Alex Kilkus on bass, and Jacob Blair on drums.

Also joining the stage is the S.U. Studio Trio!, showcasing the talents of Josh Tregre on piano, Lance Davis on bass, and Will Strickler on drums. Together, they create a dynamic synergy, weaving through jazz landscapes and leaving a lasting impression with their skillful interpretations. Ticket Price: All tickets are $10. Seating is by general admission. Online ticket sales will conclude at 3:00 PM on the day of the show. Thereafter, tickets will be available for purchase at the door. Children 12 years and below are free when accompanied by an adult.
