Captain Curiosity: The Carbon Conundrum

About: Join Captain Curiosity on his greatest adventure yet as he sets out to save the planet—with a little help from the carbon cycle. Through puppetry, audience participation, and plenty of laughs, young audiences will journey from snowy mountaintops to the Earth's fiery mantle while discovering how carbon moves through plants, animals, the air, oceans, and soil to help keep ecosystems in balance. Along the way, they'll encounter volcanic eruptions, prehistoric rivals, and rebellious magma in this entertaining science-filled adventure.

This free family-friendly event is open to the public; brought to you in partnership with the Clarke County Library.

Date & Time: Monday, July 13, 2026. Doors open at 10:30, and the program begins at 11:00 AM.
