About: Seven Voices returns with their beloved annual Patsy Cline tribute concert!
Born in Winchester, VA, Patsy Cline remains one of the most influential vocalists of the 20th century. A pioneer of the Nashville Sound—a style that bridged country and pop—she twice topped the Billboard country charts during her brief but impactful eight-year recording career. Posthumously, Cline became the first female artist inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, cementing her legacy as a trailblazer for women in country music.
Known for her emotive, sultry contralto, Patsy Cline’s voice captured the deepest human emotions with rare poignancy. Beyond her vocal talent, her vibrant personality and personal stories continue to captivate audiences. This unique concert honors her enduring influence through both song and story.
Bringing together talented artists from across the DMV region and diverse musical backgrounds, Seven Voices presents classic renditions alongside fresh, inventive arrangements of Cline’s timeless repertoire. Featured performers include internationally touring, award-winning musicians and songwriters Jess Eliot Myhre (formerly of the Bumper Jacksons), Maureen Andary (The Sweater Set), Nicole Saphos, and others, offering a soulful celebration of a hometown legend.
